What I tried today#
Tinkered with Blender. Installed MACHIN3tools plugin on Blender and wow what a game changer. Although I only had a handful 3D modeling experience in Blender but I suddenly can creating shapes and manipulate objects with ease. Take my comments with a grain of salt since I’m obviously new to the software.
Based off the sketch from yesterday, I created a quick concept in Blender – when I should’ve gone to bed.
What worked#
The concept looks simple and interesting so far and I will continue to experiment with it.
And what didn’t#
I wanted to make the hatch on the sphere pilot pod, and start populating the interior: consoles, controllers and seat. I will see how much I can put in tomorrow.
